September 20, 1993 Page - 5 - <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS (continued) <br /> John Klein, Housing Coordinator, reviewed the categories in which funds <br /> were used in the last fiscal year, including public works, <br /> administration, economic development, public services, rehabilitation, <br /> and capital improvements. He reviewed the Community Development Block <br /> Grant close-out of the final budget and said, in accordance with HUD <br /> requirements, a Public Hearing must be held so that carry overs can be <br /> dedicated to the current fiscal year. <br /> The Hearing was then opened to the public. <br /> There being no comments from the public, on motion of Council Member <br /> Polvorosa, seconded by Council Member Perry, and carried unanimously, <br /> the Public Hearing was closed. <br /> The following Resolutions were then introduced: <br /> Resolution No. 93-208, Resolution Accepting the Community Development <br /> Block Grant (CDBG) Grantee Performance Report (GPR) for Fiscal Year <br /> 1992-93 and Authorizing Submission Thereof by the City Manager (reports <br /> on the 1992-93 CDBG activities and provides for acceptance of the CDBG <br /> Annual Performance Report and submission to HUD) .
