Minute Order No. 93-73. 1994 Election Matters, Including Charter <br /> Amendment Re. City Council/Mayoral Term Limit. (1055/1423) <br /> On motion by Council Member Myers, who moved its approval , seconded by <br /> Council Member Polvorosa, and carried by the following called vote, the <br /> City Council directed staff to include within the election materials a <br /> proposed Charter Amendment dealing with the two-term limitation. In <br /> addition, the City Council asked for information regarding <br /> incompatibility of offices, a list of matters that constitute vacation <br /> of office under the laws of the State of California, and for the City <br /> Attorney to look at the language that was given to Council Member <br /> Corbett. <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Myers, Nahm, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Mayor Faria ( 6 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: Council Member Kerr ( 1 ) <br /> 8. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> A. Matter of HUD Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) . <br /> - Grantee Performance Report (GPR) for Fiscal Year 1992-93. <br /> Resolution Accepting the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) <br /> Grantee Performance Report (GPR) for Fiscal Year 1992-93 and <br /> Authorizing Submission Thereof by the City Manager (reports on the <br /> 1992-93 CDBG activities and provides for acceptance of the CDBG <br /> Annual Performance Report and submission to HUD) . <br /> - Revised Final Submission Statement, Fiscal Year 1992-93. <br /> Resolution Approving Reconciling Final Submission Statement for <br /> Community Development Block Grant Funds, Fiscal Year 1992-93 and <br /> Authorizing Execution and Submission Thereof by the City Manager <br /> (provides for adjustments to budgeted activities to close out <br /> program year 1992-93 and to carry forward unexpended funds) . <br /> This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above <br /> matter, Jacqui Diaz, Administrative Aide, Development Services <br /> Department, said the matter before the Council was a joint Public <br /> Hearing for the Grantee Performance Report for Fiscal Year 1992-93, <br /> required by HUD, and is a summary for the past fiscal year. She said <br /> they were also requesting approval of the Resolution to close out the <br /> fiscal year, which would be sent to HUD. She said they are trying to <br /> make changes this year, such as obtaining housing rehabilitation <br /> services from Alameda County for cost savings and joint cooperative <br /> work for 'community assistance funding to streamline the process and <br /> make it more accessible to the community. <br />
