PUBLIC HEARINGS A. Matter of Condemnation of the North Block Building (Joseph A. Proietti Property) Located at 117 Peralta Street for the Civic Center Seismic Retrofit Project. This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, Rob Caughell , Engineering and Transportation Department, said the subject resolution is a Resolution of Necessity authorizing the City Attorney to begin the legal process to begin Eminent Domain Proceedings for acquisition of property at 117 Peralta Street related to the Civic Center Seismic Retrofit Project. He said the Hearing was necessary in order to acquire the property in a manner that would allow the project to remain on schedule. The Hearing was then opened to the public. There being no comments from the public, on motion of Council Member Polvorosa, seconded by Council Member Perry, and carried unanimously, the Public Hearing was closed.
