Matter of Adding Emergency Item to the Agenda <br /> Regarding a Resolution Supporting the Efforts of ACPC, Inc. , to Secure <br /> a Contract with Pacific Gas and Electric for a Value Managed <br /> Relationship Agreement. (1123) <br /> On motion by Council Member Nahm, who moved its approval , seconded by <br /> Council Member Myers, and carried by the following called vote, the <br /> City Council approved the Motion to place an emergency item on the <br /> Agenda regarding a Resolution Supporting the Efforts of ACPC, Inc. , to <br /> Secure a Contract with Pacific Gas and Electric for a Value Managed <br /> Relationship Agreement. <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Kerr, Myers, Nahm, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Mayor Faria ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> Mayor Faria said this plant, located in San Leandro, does $40 million <br /> worth of business. He said the deadline for their application to PG&E <br /> is March 15th; and, if they lose the PG&E contract, they will be <br /> closing down the plant. He said the City is moving very fast trying to <br /> get in contact with the right people at PG&E to enable the plant to <br /> stay in business. <br /> The City Clerk read the Resolution. <br />
