She thanked Mayor Faria and all the mayors before him for their <br /> dedication to the people of San Leandro and the hundreds of hours they have given <br /> to keep San Leandro a wonderful place to live. She thanked Gail , Sara, and C.J. <br /> Faria for sharing John with us. She also thanked the wonderful City Council and <br /> congratulated new members Loeffler and Galvan on their election and Council <br /> Member Polvorosa on his re-election. She said she has come to respect the <br /> Council very deeply. They have been through a lot together, and they have kept <br /> their sense of humor and sense of direction. Together they will achieve a very <br /> bright future, with the help of all the people of San Leandro.
