PUBLIC COMMENTS Public Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person.
A. Louis Trager, 312 Maud Avenue, requested that the City Council move the
matter of the Appeal of the mural up on the Agenda so it could be
considered early in the meeting.
Mayor Corbett noted the Agenda this evening was very short and Council
should be able to get through the other matters quickly and on to the
mural . She thanked Mr. Trager for his suggestion.
B. John Justino, 1211 - 147th Avenue, asked when a wall or trees would be
put in behind the Pacific High School sports field and when the trailer
at Halcyon Park would be moved. He also requested the City Council
adopt an ordinance that would create smoke-free restaurants throughout
San Leandro.
C. Lawrence Porter, 76 Dutton Avenue, said he recently saw the Fire
Department respond in San Leandro Plaza and unlock a car where keys had
been left inside. He said he felt this kind of work was better left to
AAA or other road services.
D. Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, said he did not believe the City
Council should become involved in politics when making a decision and
that the mural issue was too political .
