Sandra Nielsen, 2100 Lewelling Boulevard, said she is one of the owners of Sandev Mobile Home Park. She described dust problems in the area related to the work being done at Robert's Landing. The City Manager asked Mrs. Nielsen to discuss this matter with Bill Algire, Engineering and Transportation Director, who could assist her. D. Mary Beth Barloga, Principal of Roosevelt School , said she was speaking as a fellow citizen and urged the City Council to support Measure D. She said they are elected representatives whose responsibility it is to share in the raising of our children, and our children's schools and neighborhoods need this Measure. E. Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, said Measure D is a political issue. He said there is a lot of dust on Lewelling Boulevard. He said the issues in Measure D are cost control and the equity of payment. He said business is not going to pay for the Measure but individual homeowners are. He said civil servants are the largest work force but cannot produce bonafide tax revenue. F. Mike Pretto, -775 Bridge Road, Co-Chair for "Yes for Kids", asked the City Council to support Measure D and to do so collectively. G. Pat Frey, 901 Glen Drive, said she has done a lot of volunteering in the schools and knows this is not a case of disrepair but the need to upgrade. She said the City Council 's endorsement of the Measure would mean a lot to the community. H. Cheryl Clifford, 136 Oakes Boulevard, said she is shocked the City Council has not come together as a Council and supported the Measure. She said the Measure will mean a lot to the community as a whole. 6. CONSENT CALENDAR Consent Calendar items are typically routine in nature and are considered for approval by the City Council with one single action. The City Council may remove items from the Consent Calendar for purposes of discussion. Items listed on the Consent Calendar are deemed to have been read by title. Items 6.0 and 6.D were removed from the Consent Calendar to New Business. The remaining items on the Consent Calendar were approved as follows: Introduced by Council Member Kerr, who moved adoption of the Consent Calendar, with all items deemed to have been read by title, seconded by Council Member Loeffler, and carried by a majority vote (7) .
