Matter of Amendment to the Zoning Map (A-94-09) , Minor Revisions, to
Correct Inconsistencies Re. Seven Properties (minor Zoning Map changes
for properties left undesignated and inadvertently left blank, which
were discovered by staff in daily use of the Maps) .
This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above
matter, Steve Emslie, Planning Manager, said, in January the Zoning
Code Maps were approved; and, at that time, staff indicated they would
be reviewing the document on an on-going basis and making changes to
correct minor errors and inconsistencies.
Elmer Penaranda, Assistant Planner, described four properties which had
been undesignated or incorrectly designated on the Map, including the
Faria Bros. Hardware property on Manor Boulevard, 14896 Bancroft
Avenue, 568 Parrott Street, and 110 San Leandro Boulevard. Mr.
Penaranda recommended appropriate zoning for these properties.
Kathleen Livermore, Associate Planner, described the three remaining
properties which had no designation -- 2023-2039 Washington Avenue, the
rear of 2166 East 14th Street, and 1162-1345 136th Avenue -- and
recommended appropriate zoning.
The Hearing was then opened to the public.
