He said the courts must apply Constitutional rights to property. There being no further comments from the public, on motion of Council Member Myers, seconded by Council Member Galvan, and carried by a majority vote (7) , the Public Hearing was closed. The following Motion was then introduced: Minute Order No. 94-47, Matter of Amendment to the Zoning Map (A-94- 09) , Minor Revisions, to Correct Inconsistencies Re. Seven Properties (minor Zoning Map changes for properties left undesignated and inadvertently left blank, which were discovered by staff in daily use of the Maps) . (1099) On motion by Council Member Polvorosa, who moved its approval , seconded by Council Member Perry, and carried by a majority vote (7) , the City Council approved the Amendment to the Zoning Map (A-94-09) , Minor Revisions, to Correct Inconsistencies Re. Seven Properties. 9. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS A. Council Member Loeffler said he attended the October 14 dedication of the San Leandro Women's Shelter as a 24-hour operation. He said this is a quality effort to help women and children in transition in our community. B. Council Member Loeffler said he was a judge at the San Leandro High School "Spirit Rally. " He said the students showed great talent and creativity, and there was a powerful competition between the juniors and seniors. C. Council Member Kerr also commended the Women's Shelter for their 24- hour operation. He said the City can be very proud of this successful program. D. Council Member Perry said she especially enjoyed the "Spirit Rally" since it is the 25th anniversary of her service as Spirit Week Chair. She said a tremendous amount of time and effort is put into the production numbers. E. Council Member Galvan also commended the High School for Spirit Week. He said it would be nice to have this type of activity on the Government Channel on Cable TV to show the positive things that happen at the High School .
