(1024/1099) <br /> - Adopted <br /> 7. NEW BUSINESS <br /> A. Matter of Adding a Fine to the Parking Citation Bail Schedule for <br /> Vehicles Illegally Parked on Lawn Areas (adds bail amount of $33.00 to <br /> the Parking Citation Bail Schedule for violations of Section 3-1-200 <br /> (h) of the San Leandro Municipal Code regarding parking on lawns or <br /> other unpaved surfaces) . <br /> Council Member Galvan asked staff how they arrived at the $33.00 fine. <br /> Joann Scilley stated the court requires that the .City's fines be <br /> comparable to neighboring city fines. She went on to say $33.00 is a <br /> little on the high range. <br /> Council Member Kerr confirmed that residents will receive a warning <br /> notice for cars parked on the lawn before a ticket is given. <br /> The following Motion was then introduced: <br /> Minute Order No. 94-51, Matter of Adding a Fine to the Parking Citation <br /> Bail Schedule for Vehicles Illegally Parked on Lawn Areas (adds bail <br /> amount of $33.00 to the Parking Citation Bail Schedule for violations <br /> of Section 3-1-200 (h) of the San Leandro Municipal Code regarding <br /> parking on lawns or other unpaved surfaces) . (1413) <br /> On motion by Council Member Myers, who moved its approval , seconded by <br /> Council Member Galvan, and carried by a majority vote (7) , the City <br /> Council approved the addition of a fine to the Parking Citation Bail <br /> Schedule for vehicles illegally parked on lawn areas. <br />
