Resolution Offering Reward for Apprehension of Perpetrator (offers <br /> $20,000 reward for the identification, apprehension and conviction of <br /> the person or persons responsible for the killing of Evelyna LeBlanc) . <br /> Council Member Perry introduced a motion, seconded by Council Member <br /> Polvorosa, to approve the Resolution at $10,000. <br /> The City Council questioned whether or not the $10,000 would be <br /> sufficient. City Manager Mike Oliver asked the Council to approve the <br /> Resolution at $10,000 and give staff the opportunity to come back to <br /> the City Council later and raise it to $20,000 if there is no response <br /> to the $10,000 reward. <br /> Council Member Kerr asked Council Member Perry to amend her motion to <br /> recommend a reward of $20,000. <br /> Council Member Perry stated that she would amend her motion to read: <br /> "up to $20,000. " <br /> The following Resolution was then introduced: <br /> Resolution No. 94-209, Resolution Offering Reward for Apprehension of <br /> Perpetrator (offers a reward up to $20,000 for the identification, <br /> apprehension and conviction of the person or persons responsible for <br /> the killing of Evelyna LeBlanc) . (1123) <br /> Introduced by Council Member Perry, who moved its adoption, seconded by <br /> Council Member Polvorosa, and carried by a majority vote (7) . <br /> C. City Council Reports on Outside Agencies . <br /> Council Member Perry noted the Council will be receiving information in <br /> their Thursday packet regarding the ABAG General Assembly, which will <br /> be meeting on December 9th. On December 5th the Council will be able <br /> to comment on the information at a City Council Work Session. <br /> Council Member Perry informed the Council that she has been elected to <br /> the Executive Committee of the East Bay Division of the League of <br /> California Cities once again. <br /> Council Member Galvan asked if there were some CMA projects that are <br /> approved but not funded. Council Member Kerr stated many of the <br /> projects have been delayed because all of the money is going to improve <br /> the highway systems and to retrofit overpasses. <br /> Mayor Corbett gave an update on the East Bay Dischargers Authority and <br /> a report on the Alameda County Waste Management Authority. She noted <br /> that the Authority has purchased property in the Altamont Hills. The <br /> property will be used to operate a composting facility for use by <br /> Alameda cities and sewer agencies. They hope to have the facility <br /> operative by 1995. <br />
