Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - March 16, 1992 Page - 7 - <br /> NEW BUSINESS (continued) <br /> The following Resolution was therefore introduced as amended: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 92-66 (1423) <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING <br /> COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> TO FILE ARGUMENT IN FAVOR OF <br /> CITY MEASURE <br /> Introduced by Council Member Faria, who moved its adoption, seconded by Council <br /> Member Polvorosa, and carried by the following called vote: <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Glaze, Polvorosa, Santos; <br /> Mayor Karp ( 6 ) <br /> NOES: Council Member Perry ( 1 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> Council Member Santos said it was his understanding the full City <br /> Council had approved placing the City's companion measure on the <br /> ballot. <br /> Council Member Perry said the reason for her no vote was that, after <br /> talking to other cities that have placed similar measures on the <br /> ballot, she felt a measure that has been put on the ballot by the <br /> people should stand or fall by the people, and she does not feel a <br /> competing measure is appropriate. <br /> H. MINUTE ORDER NO. 92-21 (1099) <br /> MATTER OF REMOVING FROM THE TABLE <br /> A-88-18 <br /> PROPOSED RE-ZONING OF DAVIS STREET EXCESS PROPERTY SITES <br /> SOUTH SIDE OF DAVIS STREET <br /> BETWEEN ORCHARD AND WAYNE AVENUES AND <br /> DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO <br /> SET A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MATTER FOR APRIL 20, 1992 <br /> On motion by Council Member Santos, who moved its approval , seconded by Council <br /> Member Faria, and carried by the following called vote, the City Council removed <br /> the matter of A-88-18 from the table and scheduled a Public Hearing on the matter <br /> for April 20, 1992. <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Glaze, Perry, Polvorosa, Santos; <br /> Mayor Karp ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br />
