NEW BUSINESS <br /> Items Removed from the Consent Calendar <br /> 6C. Resolution Approving Lease Agreement Between the City of San Leandro <br /> and the Mulford Gardens Improvement Association for Mulford Park <br /> (provides for the renewal of the City's 20-year lease of the Mulford <br /> Park property) . <br /> Council Member Faria suggested that the termination clause be modified <br /> to say that termination may be made by either party after one year <br /> rather than after 10 years. <br /> Council Member Kerr said he preferred the 10-year clause because if the <br /> City made any improvements they wanted to be able to use them. <br /> Mike Oliver, City Manager, said it was the original intent of the <br /> original Lease; however, all of the major improvements have been <br /> installed and have been fully amortized. <br />
