Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - October 5, 1992 Page. - 6 - <br /> NEW BUSINESS (continued) <br /> Jack Shepard, Alameda County, said the Agreement will be recorded with <br /> the property, so any encumbrances will be noted. <br /> Mr. Klein said 10 percent of the residents of BOSS would be San Leandro <br /> residents. He said the amount of money provided by San Leandro was <br /> dependent upon the funds that were available. He said that, although <br /> Hayward and Fremont were providing a lesser amount of funds, in other <br /> cases those cities have provided a greater amount of funds. <br /> Mr. Shepard noted that this is a transitional program, and people will <br /> either come out of a shelter in the San Leandro area or had a home in <br /> the San Leandro area, which determines their initial point of <br /> residency. <br /> The following Resolution was then introduced: <br /> Resolution No. 92-280, Resolution Approving Agreement Between the <br /> County of Alameda, City of Hayward, City of Fremont and City of San <br /> Leandro for the Berkeley-Oakland Support Services (BOSS) Transitional <br /> Housing Project (provides loan to BOSS for housing for the mentally <br /> disabled) . (1255) <br /> Introduced by Council Member Perry, who moved its adoption, seconded by <br /> Council Member Polvorosa, and carried by the following called vote: <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Mayor Karp ( 6 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: Council Member Kerr ( 1 ) <br /> B. Matter of Approval of Membership of the San Leandro Partnership for <br /> Youth Safety Committee. <br /> Council Member Perry noted the Committee now included new <br /> representation by the Youth Advisory Commission, the Lincoln High <br /> School Principal , and one more elementary school slot. She said the <br /> Bancroft and Associated Homeowners appointments are still pending. <br />
