Ordinance No. 92-034, An Ordinance Amending Section 4-6-400 of and <br /> Adding Sections 4-6-405, 4-6-410, and 4-6-605 to Title IV, Chapter 6 of <br /> the San Leandro Municipal Code, Relating to Alarm Systems (provides a <br /> mechanism to collect delinquent, false-alarm charges by placing liens <br /> on real property and deletes the first, false-alarm, certified-mail <br /> requirement) . (1413) <br /> Introduced by Council Member Polvorosa, who moved its adoption, <br /> seconded by Council Member Myers, and carried by the following called <br /> vote: <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Mayor Karp ( 6 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: Council Member Kerr ( 1 ) <br /> E. NEW BUSINESS <br /> A. Resolution Approving Agreement Between the County of Alameda, City of <br /> Hayward, City of Fremont and City of San Leandro for the Berkeley- <br /> Oakland Support Services (BOSS) Transitional Housing Project (provides <br /> loan to BOSS for housing for the mentally disabled) . <br /> Council Member Corbett asked questions regarding the restrictions <br /> related to encumbrances. <br /> John Klein said the Agreement is with other cities and with Alameda <br /> County to loan money to BOSS, and Alameda County will be the lead <br /> agency. In response to questions from the Council , he said the City <br /> has used CDBG Funds to buy property previously, in the case of the <br /> Horizon Agreement. <br />
