NEW BUSINESS <br /> Items Removed from the Consent Calendar <br /> 6E. Resolution Amending Sections 1 .2 and 1 . 11 of Appendix "A" of the Pay Plan <br /> (amends Section 1 .2, Development Services Department, to add a job <br /> classification and salary range for the position of Development Services <br /> Analyst in the Development Services Department consolidation, as approved <br /> by the City Council in the Fiscal Year 1992-93 budget; amends Section 1 . 11, <br /> Public Works Services Department - Water Pollution Control Division, to <br /> retitle positions responsible for industrial waste inspection duties to <br /> "Environmental Compliance Coordinator" and "Environmental Compliance <br /> Inspector (Journey - Entry)") . <br /> The City Council asked for a staff report on this matter. Mike Oliver said <br /> the amendment to the Pay Plan creates a new Development Services Analyst <br /> position as a result of the reorganization of the Development Services <br /> Department. He said the position is now an Administrative Aide and this <br /> would upgrade the position to Administrative Assistant, but not at the <br /> management level .
