She said it was important that people from <br /> all different groups participate. She reiterated that the purpose of <br /> the Committee was fact finding, not policy setting. She also described <br /> information on the safe schools model plan from Sacramento that she had <br /> obtained for discussion. <br /> Council Member Corbett also said it would be an open process and the <br /> selection procedure considered all names that were submitted. She said <br /> everyone must work together and set aside their differences to make <br /> something happen. <br />
