CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> A. Council Member Santos said he and Council Member Perry had attended a <br /> Saturday session given by Assemblyman Klehs regarding the State budget. <br /> He said the audience at the session made it clear they did not want any <br /> cuts from school funding or suspension of Proposition 98. He said the <br /> State budget deficit continues to grow and the State is looking to <br /> cities to fund the deficit. <br /> B. Council Member Santos noted that there are waves in the road on the <br /> Polvorosa/Maltester overcrossing, westbound, toward Doolittle Drive. <br /> C. Council Member Glaze said Chez Doucet, at the corner of Fairway and <br /> Merced, has an accumulation of tall weeds. <br />
