Resolution Appointing Member to Human Resources Commission (District <br /> 6) - Cecilia Thomas. <br /> Council Member Santos introduced Mrs. Thomas and said she will be an <br /> excellent addition to the Human Resources Commission. Mrs. Thomas said <br /> she was excited about participating on the Human Resources Commission <br /> and thinks this appointment will meld nicely with her role on the Youth <br /> Safety Committee. <br /> The following Resolution was then introduced: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 91-195 (2024) <br /> RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBER <br /> TO THE HUMAN RESOURCES COMMISSION <br /> CECILIA THOMAS <br /> (DISTRICT 6) <br /> Introduced by Council Member Santos who moved its adoption, seconded by Council <br /> Member Corbett and carried by the following called vote: <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Glaze, Perry, Polvorosa, Santos; <br /> Mayor Karp ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> Mrs. Thomas was then sworn into office by the City Clerk. <br /> B. Resolution Approving Contractual Services Agreement with LSA Associates, <br /> Inc. , to Prepare an Environmental Impact Report Related to the Roberts <br /> Landing Planned Unit Development. <br /> Janice Delfino asked specifically what area of the Citation property <br /> would be covered by the proposed EIR. <br /> Steve Meyers, City Attorney, said the EIR would cover the property owned <br /> by Citation, which is the subject of the rezoning by the City Council . <br /> He said environmental clearance has already been done on the dredge <br /> disposal site. He said this EIR will cover the R-1-PDC portion of <br /> Citation's property, and any actions that Citation may have to take on <br /> the open-space lands. He said this would be the area north and south <br /> of Lewelling Boulevard extended. <br /> Mrs. Delfino asked questions regarding condition 5, Preliminary <br /> Endangerment Assessment, and asked if that plan would be incorporated <br /> into the EIR. <br /> Mr. Meyers said this would be a separate contract. In response to a <br /> question by Mrs. Delfino, Mr. Meyers said that an analysis of the <br /> possibility of hazardous waste on the site and the adequacy of <br /> disclosure of toxic materials on the site would be the responsibility <br /> of the City. <br />
