Resolution Approving Contractual Services Agreement with LSA Associates,
Inc. , to Prepare an Environmental Impact Report Related to the Roberts
Landing Planned Unit Development.
Janice Delfino asked specifically what area of the Citation property
would be covered by the proposed EIR.
Steve Meyers, City Attorney, said the EIR would cover the property owned
by Citation, which is the subject of the rezoning by the City Council .
He said environmental clearance has already been done on the dredge
disposal site. He said this EIR will cover the R-1-PDC portion of
Citation's property, and any actions that Citation may have to take on
the open-space lands. He said this would be the area north and south
of Lewelling Boulevard extended.
Mrs. Delfino asked questions regarding condition 5, Preliminary
Endangerment Assessment, and asked if that plan would be incorporated
into the EIR.
Mr. Meyers said this would be a separate contract. In response to a
question by Mrs. Delfino, Mr. Meyers said that an analysis of the
possibility of hazardous waste on the site and the adequacy of
disclosure of toxic materials on the site would be the responsibility
of the City.
