ORDINANCE NO. 91-014 (1406) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE I, CHAPTER 1 OF THE SAN LEANDRO MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO COUNCIL MEMBER DISTRICTS Introduced by Council Member Santos, who moved its adoption, seconded by Council Member Glaze, and carried by the following called vote: AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Glaze, Perry, Polvorosa, Santos; Mayor Karp ( 7 ) NOES: None ( 0 ) ABSENT: None ( 0 ) 7. NEW BUSINESS A. Resolution Approving Agreement with Pacific Union Ventures Development Services for Civic Center Renovation Project (provides for management services for the design, entitlement, bidding and construction of the project) . Council Member Perry requested that staff describe the actions to be taken as a result of the Resolution and Motion. Mike Oliver, Assistant City Manager, said the City Council was being requested to approve an Agreement with Pacific Union Company for management of the entire Civic Center Renovation Project, including renovation of the existing building for seismic retrofit and expansion of the Civic Center. He said this is a complex project, requiring a firm with experience in project management. He said that, although the entire Agreement with Pacific Union was on the City Council 's Agenda, their approval of the agreement does not constitute a commitment by the City Council to pursue the entire project.
