NEW BUSINESS <br /> A. Resolution Approving Agreement with Pacific Union Ventures Development <br /> Services for Civic Center Renovation Project (provides for management <br /> services for the design, entitlement, bidding and construction of the <br /> project) . <br /> Council Member Perry requested that staff describe the actions to be <br /> taken as a result of the Resolution and Motion. <br /> Mike Oliver, Assistant City Manager, said the City Council was being <br /> requested to approve an Agreement with Pacific Union Company for <br /> management of the entire Civic Center Renovation Project, including <br /> renovation of the existing building for seismic retrofit and expansion <br /> of the Civic Center. He said this is a complex project, requiring a <br /> firm with experience in project management. He said that, although the <br /> entire Agreement with Pacific Union was on the City Council 's Agenda, <br /> their approval of the agreement does not constitute a commitment by the <br /> City Council to pursue the entire project. <br />
