SIMPSON On motion by Council Member Polvorosa who moved its approval , seconded by Council Member Perry and carried by the following called vote, the City Council approved the appointment of Shirley R. Simpson to the Mayor's Committee for the Preservation of Human Rights and Against Racial and Religious Intolerance. AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Perry, Polvorosa, Santos; Mayor Karp ( 6 ) NOES: None ( 0 ) ABSENT: Council Member Glaze ( 1 ) M. MINUTE ORDER NO. 91-96 (1156) MATTER OF APPOINTMENT TO THE SAN LEANDRO PARTNERSHIP FOR YOUTH SAFETY COMMITTEE RICK RICHARDS On motion by Council Member Corbett who moved its approval , seconded by Council Member Perry and carried by the following called vote, the City Council approved the appointment of Rick Richards to the San Leandro Partnership for Youth Safety Committee, replacing Barbara Naylor, as the San Leandro High School Parent Representative. MINUTE ORDER NO. 91-97 (1083) MATTER OF CIVIC CENTER EXPANSION On motion by Council Member Faria who moved its approval , seconded by Council Member Corbett and carried by the following called vote, the City Council authorized the submittal of the General Development Plan proposal for the Civic Center Master Plan Project to the Planning Commission for General Plan review.
