Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - May 21, 1990 Page - 14 - <br /> CORRESPONDENCE (continued) : <br /> Bill Rugg, Community Development Director, indicated that staff is looking <br /> into possible programs to deal with two-hour parking in residential areas. <br /> He explained that the two-hour parking restriction is to prevent employees <br /> from parking on residential streets and the restrictions are only in effect <br /> from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. He said staff will be meeting with the people <br /> who have sent cards and letters to the City and will contact Ms. Dean and <br /> let her know the status of the process. <br /> MISCELLANEOUS: <br /> f. Council Member Santos asked for a status report on the property at 1048 <br /> Davis Street. It was noted that this matter was on the Redevelopment Agency <br /> Agenda. <br /> g. Council Member Perry asked for a status report on the Presto Pizza site that <br /> had been approved for an Arby's. She said there is an accumulation of weeds <br /> and the site is being used as a parking lot and is becoming an eye sore. <br /> h. Council Member Perry noted there are chunks of pavement missing in the <br /> crosswalk at 142nd and Lark. <br /> i . Council Member Perry inquired about the status of the Cable TV questionnaire <br /> to Washington Square residents. Jerry Maughan indicated that responses are <br /> coming in now and he will be preparing a summary. <br /> j. Council Member Perry noted that Kids Day was a great success.
