Presentation of Commendation by the City to Darla Mortensen, President, and Cindie Camozzi , Chairman, of the San Leandro Inner Wheel Club, for the Club's Donations of Bears to the Police-Department sponsored, Operation Bear Hug Program, for traumatized Children. Mayor Karp read the commendation and described the Operation Bear Hug Program. The Wheel Club thanked the City and said they had another 200 bears set aside for the program. Kathy Ornelas extended the thanks of the Police Department for the Club's participation in the program.
