Matter of PD-89-1; Planned Unit Development; General Development Plan and <br /> Precise Development Plan Combined; to Construct a Shopping Center Consisting <br /> of Four Separate Buildings, Including a Burger King Restaurant; at the <br /> Southeast Corner of Lewelling Boulevard and Washington Avenue; Assessor's <br /> Parcel Number 412-6-3, 10 and 11; C-2 (Light Commercial ) District; Pacific <br /> Development Group. <br /> This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, <br /> Gaye Quinn, Acting Director of the Building and Planning Department, noted <br /> that this Public Hearing had been continued from the City Council Meeting <br /> of July 16, 1990, to give staff and the applicant time to resolve issues <br /> related to dedication of right-of-way and Developer Fees for Street <br /> Improvements. She noted that the property is zoned C-2 and located on the <br /> southeast corner of Washington Avenue and Lewelling Boulevard. She described <br /> the surrounding properties and said the key issues are related to traffic <br /> impact, parking, fast-food restaurant, street improvements, and the <br /> relationship of the project to the adjacent apartment complex. <br />
