VI. Protests or Objections <br />Any protest or objection regarding the RFP procedures as defined in this <br />document may be submitted in writing to Eric Engelbart, Assistant to the City <br />Manager. All protests must be submitted within 5 working days of the notification <br />of a respondent selected for recommendation for contract to the City Council and <br />will be reviewed by the City Manager to determine whether the protest is valid. <br />Only respondents may submit protests. Protests on the qualifications review <br />process will not be accepted. <br />VII. RFP Addenda <br />Any changes to the RFP requirements will be made by addendum. All addenda <br />shall include an acknowledgment of receipt that must be returned. The addenda <br />must be signed and attached to the final response. Failure to attach any <br />addendum may result in the rejection of the response. <br />All addenda will be emailed to each identifiable respondent. <br />VIII. For additional information regarding the services to be provided, <br />please review the Scope of Work. Except for the above named, potential <br />respondents should not contact other San Leandro officials or staff regarding any <br />aspect of this RFP. If such contact is made, the City reserves the right to reject <br />the proposal <br />IX. Verbal Agreement or Conversation <br />No prior, current, or post award verbal conversations or agreements with any <br />officer, agent, or employee of the City or any other person or entity shall affect or <br />modify any terms or obligations of this RFP or any agreement resulting from this <br />process. <br />City of San Leandro RFP for State Legislative Advocacy Services Page 5 <br />
