APPENDIX A. PROJECT AREA LEGAL DESCRIPTION <br />provided in any owner participation agree- <br />ment for subsequent disposition for renova- <br />tion according to the standards established <br />by this plan and for use in accordance with <br />this plan. This alternate procedure will be- <br />come effective only if the owner falls to <br />make the required improvements or enter <br />into an owner participation agreement with- <br />in a period of six months following termina- <br />tion of an existing lease, tenancy or use. The <br />agency may, on its own motion or by appli- <br />cation of the owner, extend this period for <br />an additional period or periods of six <br />months. Execution of an owner participation <br />agreement prior to actual acquisition by the <br />agency, and reimbursement to the agency by <br />the owner of any costs incurred in pursuance <br />of such acquisition by the agency under this <br />alternate procedure, will reinstate the owner <br />participation provision of this plan. PROJECT AREA <br />LEGAL DESCRIPTION <br />The Plaza 2 Redevelopment Project, at it <br />existed on February 25, 1974, is shown on <br />the map marked Exhibit 1.24.010(B). AREA <br />1 is more particularly described as follows: <br />AREA 1 <br />Beginning at the intersection of the <br />southeasterly line of West Juana Avenue <br />with the southwesterly line of Hays Street; <br />thence northwesterly along the southwester- <br />ly line of Hays Street to its intersection with <br />the northwesterly line of Davis Street; <br />thence northeasterly along the said north- <br />westerly line of Davis Street to its intersec- <br />tion with the southwesterly line of East 14th <br />Street; thence easterly in a direct line to the <br />intersection of the northeasterly line of East <br />14th Street with the northwesterly line of <br />Callan Avenue as said street existed on <br />March 4, 1968; thence southeasterly in a <br />direct line to the point of intersection of the <br />northeasterly line of East 14th Street with <br />the southeasterly line of Callan Avenue; <br />thence southeasterly along the said north- <br />easterly line of East 14th Street to its inter- <br />section with the southeasterly line of Juana <br />Avenue; thence northeasterly along the said <br />southeasterly line of Juana Avenue to its <br />intersection with the southeasterly prolonga- <br />tion of the northeasterly property line of <br />Parcel 51, Block 551; thence northwesterly <br />along the said southeasterly prolongation of <br />the northeasterly property line of Parcel 51, <br />and along the northeasterly property line of <br />the said Parcel 51, and along the northeaster- <br />ly property line of Parcel 53, Block 551, and <br />along the northwesterly prolongation of the <br />said northeasterly property line of Parcel 53 <br />to its intersection with the northwesterly line <br />of Joaquin Avenue, thence southwesterly <br />along the said northwesterly line of Joaquin <br />Avenue to its intersection with the north- <br />easterly property line of Parcel 28, Block <br />551; thence northwesterly along the said <br />northeasterly property line of the said Parcel <br />28 to the northeast corner thereof, thence <br />northeasterly along the northwesterly prop- <br />erty line of Parcel 27, Block 551 to its inter- <br />section with the northeasterly property line <br />of Parcel 36, Block 551; thence northwester- <br />ly along the said northeasterly property line <br />of the said Parcel 36 and along the north- <br />westerly prolongation of the said northeast- <br />er]y property line of the said Parcel 36 to its <br />intersection with the northwesterly line of <br />51 (San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Supp. No. 2, 12-05) <br />
