2.24.060 Relocation housing. <br />If insufficient suitable housing units are <br />available in the project area for use by per- <br />sons and families of low and moderate in- <br />come displaced by the project, the agency <br />may, to the extent of that deficiency, direct <br />or cause the development, rehabilitation or <br />construction of housing units within the city <br />or county, both inside and outside of the <br />project area. (Ord. 93-012 § 436, 1993) <br />2.24.070 Tax increment funds. <br />Except as otherwise provided in Health <br />and Safety Code Section 33334.2 and, to the <br />extent applicable, Health and Safety Code <br />Section 33334.6, not less than twenty per- <br />cent (20%) of all taxes which are allocated <br />to the agency pursuant to Health and Safety <br />Code Section 33670 shall be used by the <br />agency for the purpose of increasing, im- <br />proving and preserving the city's and coun- <br />ty's supply of housing for persons and fami- <br />lies of low or moderate income and very low <br />income households in accordance with the <br />provisions of Health and Safety Code Sec- <br />tion 33334.3.
