IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO.2014-020 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE $49,000 ABANDONED WATERCRAFT ABATEMENT <br /> FUND (AWAF) GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND <br /> THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA,DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION, <br /> DIVISION OF BOATING AND WATERWAYS <br /> FOR ABATEMENT OF ABANDONED WATERCRAFT SUBJECT TO LIEN AT THE <br /> SAN LEANDRO MARINA AND THE SAN LEANDRO SHORELINE <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and the State of California, <br /> Department of Parks and Recreation,Division of Boating and Waterways,a copy of which is <br /> attached,has been presented to this City Council; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> An appropriation by the City Council for$49,000 from the Shoreline Fund has been <br /> established and will be replenished by grant proceeds. <br /> That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby <br /> authorized. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Lee and passed and adopted this 3rd day of March, 2014, <br /> by the following vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cutter, Gregory, Lee,Prola, Reed, Souza; Mayor Cassidy (7) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: None (0) <br /> ATTEST: ` , fi ' <br /> t <br /> Marian Handa, City Clerk <br /> I hereby certify that this is a true and correct copy of <br /> Resolution No. 2014-020 adopted this 3rd day of March, <br /> 2014, by th,City Counn cil of the City of San Leandro. <br /> Vivian Chiu <br /> Deputy City Clerk of the City of San Leandro <br />
