The following fees have been established by the City Council pursuant to various provisions of the San Leandro Municipal Code (SLMC), San Leandro Administrative Code (SLAC) or the general laws of the State of California. <br />Description <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT – Business Development <br />1 Owner Participation Agreements for Redevelopment Areas Direct Costs (1) <br />2 Development Agreements and Leases for City/Agency Owned Property Direct Costs (1) <br />3 Conditional Use (Redevelopment Agency)Direct Costs (1) <br />4 Appeals <br />A. Occupancy Approval Direct Costs (1) <br />B. Conditional use Direct Costs (1) <br />C. Signs Direct Costs (1) <br />D. Other Direct Costs (1) <br />5 Marina Leases <br />A. Extensions Direct Costs (2) plus the value of the extension. (3) <br />B. Assignments Direct Costs (2) plus the value of the assignment (3) <br />C. New Leases Direct Costs (2) <br />(1) Direct Costs: Hourly personnel charge plus a factor of 33% for benefits, 14.80% for indirect overhead charges and 52.23% for staff support charges. <br />(2) Direct Costs/Planning: Hourly personnel charge plus a factor of 33% for benefits, 83% for indirect overhead charges and 89% for staff support charges. <br />(3) Based on case-by-case financial analysis and appraisals of subject facilities/improvements. <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT - Building Regulations Division <br />1 Plans and Specifications See Engineering & Transportation Department Item 7, Public Work Projects <br />2 Building Permit <br />A. Filing and Issuance Fee $92 plus valuation fees and/or other <br />building fees as listed below <br />CPI <br />Re-filing Fee for each resubmittal, deferred submittal, and/or revision after <br />1st resubmittal, or upon 2nd resubmittal for plan check on same project <br />50% of Filing and Issuance Fee per <br />occurrence <br />Minimum fee for one inspection Included in the Issue and Filing Fee <br />Building Permits requiring more than one inspection, other than for those <br />requiring return inspections for corrections from a previous inspection, have <br />a minimum fee of: <br />$140.00 143.00$ CPI <br />All-Inclusive Permit: Work involving a combination of building and/or <br />mechanical, electrical and plumbing, with a value of less than $3,000: <br />One filing and issuance fee plus Items from <br />respective fee tables <br />Residential Seismic Retrofit projects using "Plan set A" (for one and two <br />family residences) <br />$75.00 plus Filing and Issuance Fee and <br />other miscellaneous fees <br /> <br />Permits involving plan check, inspections, and verification per OSHPD3 <br />requirements. <br /> <br />New Commercial/Industrial Buildings 10,000 sq. ft. or more (additional time <br />for plan review, inspections, and verification of code requirements) <br />125% of standard Building Permit Fee <br />Tier 1 Certification (additional time for plan review, inspections, and <br />verification of code requirements) <br />130% of standard Building Permit Fee <br />Tier 2 Certification (additional time for plan review, inspections, and <br />verification of code requirements) <br />135% of standard Building Permit Fee <br />125% of normal Building Permit Fee. Plan check fee <br />shall be calculated based on this increased fee. <br />(Note: The Building Official may adjust the plan checking/permit fee for an individual project when costs to the City are not congruent with this fee schedule.) <br />$94 plus valuation fees and/ or <br />other building fees as listed <br />below <br />NOTE: FEES FOR BUILDING PERMITS AND TERMITE REPAIR WORK DO NOT INCLUDE THE STRONG MOTION (EARTHQUAKE) INSTRUMENTATION PROGRAM (S.M.I.P.) FEE MANDATED BY THE STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA AND COLLECTED BY THE CITY FOR THE STATE. THIS FEE MUST BE ADDED TO THE PERMIT FEES. <br /> 3
