. . S <br /> Subsection O. Seniority <br /> Seniority for purposes of vacation accrual shall be based on total continuous employment with <br /> City and ACFD. Fire employees previously employed by the Eden Consolidated or Castro <br /> Valley Fire ACFD District who resigned to accept employment with the San Leandro Fire <br /> Department shall receive seniority credit for time served with the Eden Consolidated or Castro <br /> Valley Fire Districts for purposes of vacation accrual and layoff. <br /> Section 4 Effective Date <br /> This agreement shall be effective only upon the effective date of the Master Agreement. <br /> Section 5 Termination of Contract - Offer of Employment <br /> In the event the Master Agreement is terminated pursuant to the terms and conditions specified <br /> in such agreement, employees of the ACFD on the date of termination who were employees <br /> of City on the Effective Date shall be offered employment with City. Such reemployment will <br /> be at the classification held at the time of the termination of the master agreement. In the <br /> event of termination of the Master Agreement, City shall promptly notify such persons <br /> regarding their rights hereunder. <br /> Section 6 Miscellaneous Provisions <br /> A. Operational Action Guide Committee (OAG) <br /> Upon the Effective Date, the Department Chief will appoint three Fire Employees to the OAG <br /> Committee. One member shall be from the rank of firefighter, one member from the rank of <br /> Engineer, and one member from the rank of Captain. The appointment will be made from a <br /> list of interested Fire Employees submitted by the employee association. Such list shall be <br /> submitted upon request of the Chief. Said list will contain three names for each rank. The <br /> Chief will select one name for each rank to serve on this committee. <br /> B. Deferred Compensation Committee <br /> Local 1428 will designate a Fire Employee to serve as a liaison with the City's deferred <br /> compensation committee. The designated liaison will participate on the City of San Leandro's <br /> deferred compensation committee as a full member of the committee. This provision shall <br /> expire when Fire Employees no longer have funds in the City's deferred compensation plan. <br /> 9 <br />
