City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: May 19, 2014 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:14-119 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY:Carolyn Knudtson <br />Recreation and Human Services Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW:Not Applicable <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION Approving and Authorizing the City Manager to Submit the <br />Alameda County Transportation Commission Approved Measure B Paratransit <br />Application for the Expenditure of Measure B Paratransit Funds in FY 2014-15 <br />(accepts grant allocation of $280,887 for Flex Shuttle) <br />WHEREAS, before Measure B Paratransit funds will be made available to local <br />agencies, the City is required to approve the annual application for Measure B Paratransit <br />funding; and <br />WHEREAS, the Alameda County Transportation Commission (CTC) requires a <br />resolution approving the annual application. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the City of San Leandro’s application for Measure B Paratransit Funds is hereby <br />approved, and the City Manager is authorized to submit the Alameda County Transportation <br />Commission Approved Measure B Paratransit Application for the expenditure of Measure B <br />funds in the amount of $280,887 in FY 2014-15 to the CTC, and to negotiate and execute all <br />documents in support of these activities; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution will be transmitted to the <br />Alameda County Transportation Commission . <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 5/13/2014
