<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1 Installation and Implementation of Dell EqualLogic 3-2-1 for vSphere | v1.8 | August 22, 2013 <br />Service description <br />Installation and Implementation of Dell EqualLogic 3-2-1 for <br />vSphere <br /> <br />Introduction <br />Dell is pleased to provide Installation and Implementation of Dell EqualLogic 3-2-1 (the “Service(s)”) in <br />accordance with this Service Description (“Service Description”). Your quote, order form or other <br />mutually-agreed upon form of invoice or order acknowledgment (as applicable, the “Order Form”) will <br />include the name of the service(s) and available service options that you purchased. For additional <br />assistance or to request a copy of your service contract(s), contact Dell Technical Support or your <br />sales representative <br />The Scope of This Service <br />This service provides for the onsite installation and implementation of a single Dell EqualLogic 3-2-1 <br />solution (“Solution”), as set forth more specifically in this Service Description (the “Service” or <br />“Services”). This Service includes the following: <br />• Planning and project management for standard SAN deployments <br />• Physical installation and cabling of all covered hardware components below <br />• Implementation and configuration of a Dell EqualLogic Storage Array environment with: <br />o two Dell Ethernet switches (non-director class); <br />o three Dell PowerEdge™ Servers (attached hosts), and <br />o a single Dell EqualLogic™ storage member. <br />• Configuration of VMware® vSphere Network Operating System onto the attached hosts <br />• Installation and configuration of VMware vCenter Server <br />• Physical to Virtual (“P2V”) server migration of up to five physical servers into the newly <br />implemented virtual environment (some exclusions apply, see P2V Specific Guidelines below) <br />o Customer may choose to have a new Windows Virtual Machine (“VM”) created in place of <br />any P2V, with customer supplied media and license key. <br /> <br />At the conclusion of this Service, Dell will conduct a brief (up to 30 minutes) Supported Product <br />orientation session and provide a configuration guide documenting the implementation. This Service <br />is available for Dell EqualLogic 3-2-1 with vSphere solutions only and is not available for Dell | EMC, <br />Dell PowerVault™ or EMC® (non-Dell) solutions. <br /> <br />
