The purposes of Task 4 are to provide requested assistance to the City as <br /> requested during the construction of the project, and to provide the <br /> documentation required for the long-term operation and maintenance of this <br /> facility. <br /> Scope <br /> The scope of this task is to: <br /> • Attend the pre-construction conference scheduled by San Leandro <br /> • Provide written clarifications of the plans and specifications as requested <br /> by the City <br /> • Review submittals as requested by the City <br /> • Provide 28 hours of field review time <br /> • Conduct final inspection with the City and prepare a punchlist of <br /> deficiencies noted that are to be corrected by the Contractor <br /> • Prepare an Operation and Maintenance manual incorporating submittals <br /> and other documentation provided by the Contractor <br /> • Prepare Record Drawings based on Contractor's and City inspector's <br /> redlines of field changes <br /> The City of San Leandro shall provide full-time construction inspection. <br /> Deliverables <br /> Consultant shall provide the following deliverables associated with Task 4: <br /> • Contract Document clarification letters <br /> • Shop drawing review letters for submittals reviewed by the Consultant <br /> • Final inspection punchlist <br /> • Five copies of operation and maintenance manual including vendor <br /> submittals <br /> • One copy of the Record Drawings. <br /> 12/28/98 Page 5 of 5 <br />
