<br />includes all related equipment which is ancillary to the transmission and <br />reception of a wireless telecommunications facility, including, but not lim- <br />ited to coaxial cable, electrical and telco conduit and connectors, electrical <br />meters, equipment cabinets, and equipment compounds and shelters. Am- <br />ateur radio operators are not included in this definition. <br /> <br /> <br />C.B Applicability Exclusions. The following activities shall be exempt from these regu- <br />lations: <br /> <br />1. District Height Limitations. The requirements set forth in this Section shall govern <br />the location of wireless telecommunications facilities towers that exceed, and <br />antennas that are installed at a height in excess of the height limitations specified <br />for each zoning district. The height limitations applicable to buildings and struc- <br />tures shall not apply to wireless telecommunications facilities. towers and an- <br />tennas. <br /> <br />2. Public Property. Wireless telecommunications facilities Antennas or towers <br />located on property owned, leased or otherwise controlled by the City shall be <br />exempt from the requirements of this Section, provided a license or lease author- <br />izing such facility antenna or tower has been approved by the City. <br /> <br />3. Amateur Radio: Receive-Only Antennas. This Section shall not govern any tow- <br />er, or the installation of any antenna, that is less than ten (10) feet in height <br />above the district height limit and is owned and operated by a federally-licensed <br />amateur (“ham”) radio station operator or is used exclusively for receive-only an- <br />tennas. <br /> <br />4. Pre-Existing Wireless Telecommunications Facility Towers and Antennas. <br />Any wireless telecommunications facility tower or antenna for which a permit <br />has been properly issued prior to the effective date of this Section shall not be <br />required to meet the requirements of this Section, other than the requirements of <br />Subsection F. C.5. Any such facilities towers or antennas shall be referred to in <br />this Section as “pre-existing wireless telecommunications facilities.” towers” <br />or “pre-existing antennas.” <br /> <br />5. Satellite Earth Station Antenna. This Section shall not apply to any satellite earth <br />station antenna placed in residential zones that areless than one meter or less in <br />diameter nor to any other satellite earth station antenna located in any other zone <br />that are less than two meters or less in diameter. <br /> <br />D. Restrictions.
