<br /> <br />G.D. Permitted Uses. <br /> <br />1. General. The wireless telecommunications facilities uses listed as “P” in this <br />Subsection D Table 1 are deemed to be permitted uses in certain industrial and <br />commercial zoning districts, such as the CC, CS, CR, C-RM, IL, IL(AU), IG, IG(AU) <br />IP, and IP(AU) Districts. These permitted wireless telecommunications facilities <br />are to be architecturally-integrated or are co-located on an existing tower struc- <br />ture. Permitted uses and shall not require discretionary review Board of Zoning <br />Adjustments review unless the applicant seeks a modification of the basic develop- <br />ment standards set forth herein. guidelines set forth in Subsection C.4. Neverthe- <br />less, all such uses shall comply with Subsection C.4., unless a modification is grant- <br />ed, and Subsection C.4. of the Section and all other applicable legal provisions. <br />Permitted uses shall comply with the general requirements of Subsection F, <br />“Specific Design Criteria” as well as building permit requirements. <br /> <br />2. Specific Permitted Uses. The following uses are specifically permitted: <br /> <br />a. Locating a tower or antenna, including the placement of additional buildings <br />or other supporting equipment used in connection with said tower or anten- <br />na, in any industrial or commercial zoning district; provided, however, that <br />such tower shall be set back from all existing off-site residences a distance <br />at least equal to the height of the tower. <br /> <br />b. Installing an antenna on an existing structure in any nonresidential district <br />other than a tower (such as a building, sign, light pole, water tower, or other <br />free-standing nonresidential strucure) that is fifty (50) feet in height or great- <br />er, so long as said additional antenna adds no more than twenty (20) feet to <br />the height of said existing structure; and <br /> <br />c. Installing an antenna on any existing tower of any height, so long as the ad- <br />dition of said antenna adds no more than twenty (20) feet to the height of <br />said existing tower and said existing tower is not a pre-existing nonconform- <br />ing tower; provided, however, that such specific permitted use shall not in- <br />clude the placement of additional buildings or other supporting equipment <br />used in connection with said antenna. <br /> <br />H.E. Administrative Review Applications Approvals. <br /> <br />1. General. The wireless telecommunications facilities listed as “AR” in Table 1 <br />are deemed to be allowable uses with an Administrative Review approval in cer- <br />tain zoning districts. New monopoles and towers are allowable uses in the IL, <br />IG, IP, IL(AU), IG(AU), and IP(AU) Districts with an Administrative Review ap- <br />proval. Architecturally-integrated facilities are allowed in the RM, CN, P, PHD, <br />NA-1, NA-2, SA-1, SA-2, SA-3, DA-1, DA-2, DA-3, DA-4, DA-5, DA-6 and PS Dis- <br />Exhibit G: Proposed Amended Article16 Page 59 <br />Note: underline and bolded text represents new text; strike-through text represents text to be eliminated
