<br />The DA-1, DA-2, DA-3, DA-4, DA-5, and DA-6 zoning districts have been created to <br />implement the Downtown San Leandro Transit Oriented Development Strategy (De- <br />velopment Strategy). The Development Strategy identifies six (6) activity areas. The <br />zoning for these activity areas are generally as follows: <br /> <br />TOD Development Strategy District Areas Corresponding <br />Zoning District <br />Retail Mixed-Use (East 14th Street between Davis and Castro Streets) DA-1 <br />Multi-Use Infill (Periphery of Downtown Core) DA-2 <br />TOD—Transition Mixed-Use (Immediately Adjacent to Retail Core) DA-3 <br />TOD—Residential Mixed-Use (Near Transit Facilities) DA-4 <br />TOD—BART Area Mixed-Use (Immediately Adjacent to BART) DA-5 <br />Office Mixed-Use (Davis Street at San Leandro Boulevard) DA-6 <br /> <br />(Ord. 2007-020 § 2; Ord. 2001-015 § 1) <br /> <br />2-636 DA-1—Use Regulations <br /> <br />A. DA-1 District—Permitted Uses. <br />The following uses are allowed in the DA-1 District, and a conditional use permit is <br />not required. (Certain uses are subject to special requirements and/or limitations, as <br />prescribed following the individual use classification.) <br /> <br />1. Accessory uses, other than Entertainment Events Activities, when in conjunction <br />with a permitted use. <br />2. Animal Grooming. (Indoor Only) <br />3. Animal Sales. <br />4. Artists’ Studios. <br />5. Brewpubs. <br />6.5. Business Services. <br />7.6. Cafés. <br />8.7. Catering Services. <br />9.8. Communication Facilities. <br />10.9.Department Stores.
