4. Building interior - Make rounds throughout the buildings on a continuous basis, <br /> spot clean any area that needs attention. Remove trash, debris, and recycling <br /> materials next to trash/recycle containers, or overfull containers. <br /> 5. Stairs - Inspect stairs and stairwells and remove all trash, debris and recycling <br /> materials. <br /> 6. Limited Access Area - Vacuum and clean those areas in the building that are <br /> limited access areas and must be cleaned while occupants are present. <br /> 7. Restrooms - Monitor and refill consumable dispensers as required. Wipe down <br /> sinks, counters, mirrors, toilets and urinals as required. <br /> 8. Outside Buildings - Outside trash containers shall be emptied once per day or <br /> additionally if required. Pick-up all paper, bottles and cans from the building <br /> perimeter, grounds, planted areas and parking lot. <br /> 9. Break Areas - Wipe off tables, counters, and chairs. Sweep and spot clean floors, <br /> and empty trash and recycling containers. <br /> 10. Windows - Spot clean all entrance glass and interior windows of smudges, <br /> fingerprints, etc. <br /> Swing Shift Weekday Contract Custodians <br /> The prime responsibility of the evening custodians is the cleaning of Civic Center <br /> buildings and not routine cleaning in the jail. However, if a prisoner has created a mess <br /> that cannot wait until the next morning, at the discretion of the Police shift supervisor, <br /> the custodian on duty will be called to clean up.
