Compressed gas cylinders and tanks shall be secured to prevent falling due to contact,
vibration or seismic activity per 2013 California Fire Code §5305.5.3 for acceptable
securing methods. Cylinders can also be stored outside in secure gated and locked
enclosures with the exempt amounts listed in the 2014 California Fire Code Table
5003.1.1(3).
D. All hazardous waste generated on site shall be handled and disposed of pursuant to
applicable local, state and federal law.
E. Discharge of anything other than rainwater to the stormwater collection system, including
street curb and gutter, is strictly prohibited.
F. The elimination of exposure of materials, processes or equipment to the maximum extent
practicable is necessary to prevent contamination of rainwater. Exposures that cannot be
eliminated require the use of Best Management Practices (BMPs), both engineered and
policy/procedural, to prevent remaining exposures from impacting rainwater, creating
illicit discharges or contaminating receiving surface waters.
G. The generation or discharge of wastewaters, other than domestic sewerage, may require a
pretreatment permit for discharge to the sanitary sewer. If a permit is required, submittal
of an application to the City's Environmental Services is required prior to finaling of the
building permit or commencing the discharge;whichever shall occur first.
Accessible and secure monitoring facilities shall be constructed at the site's final
combined sanitary sewer outfall to allow for the City to periodically install sampling
equipment and collect wastewater samples to determine compliance with the facility's
Pretreatment Permit.
V. FIRE DEPARTMENT
A. On plans submitted for building permit approval, provide the occupancy classification of
the tenant space.
B. The project is to conform to the currently adopted codes and standards at the time of
submittal. An applicable code section showing the codes and standards with editions is to
be provided on the plans.
C. Fire alarm plans and fire sprinkler plans are deferred approval items. Note is to be
provided on the plans with this requirement.
VI. PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
A. All uses and activities shall comply with the provisions of the San Leandro Noise
Regulations(Title IV, Chapter 1 of the Municipal Code).
B. No use, activity, or process shall produce vibrations that are perceptible without instruments
by a reasonable person at the property lines of a site.
Revised Agreement to Conditions June 26,2014
PLN2012-00001 Page 7 of 9
