$AN City of San Leandro <br /> Meeting Date: December 15, 2014 <br /> Resolution - Council <br /> File Number: 14-542 Agenda Section: CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Agenda Number: <br /> TO: City Council <br /> FROM: Chris Zapata <br /> City Manager <br /> BY: Cynthia Battenberg <br /> Community Development Director <br /> FINANCE REVIEW: David Baum <br /> Finance Director <br /> TITLE: RESOLUTION Authorizing the City Manager to Expend Funds for BART <br /> Parking Mitigation Improvements and to Appropriate $50,000 from General <br /> Fund Reserves and Transfer the Funds to the City Manager's Contingency <br /> Fund (provides for a shuttle program and potential lighting improvement or <br /> other mitigation measures) <br /> WHEREAS, construction of The Cornerstone and San Leandro Tech Campus, while <br /> beneficial for the City in the long term, will have an approximately 18-month impact on BART <br /> parking; and <br /> WHEREAS, efforts are underway to educate BART patrons on transportation and <br /> parking alternatives during the temporary closure of the BART surface parking lot on the east <br /> side of San Leandro Boulevard. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. The recitals above are hereby true and correct and incorporated herein. <br /> 2.
