File Number: 14-533 <br /> The proposed additional appropriation of funds for the new Mobile Hostage Negotiations <br /> Team Operation Command Vehicle will ensure that the vehicle will be built to Police <br /> Department specifications and have the ability to accommodate the existing equipment in <br /> order to effectively negotiate in critical situations. It will be equipped to operate as an <br /> emergency command post as well as an emergency communication center. Additionally, the <br /> vehicle will be self-sufficient for long durations, if needed, and it will be an asset to the City <br /> during any type of critical incident or major disaster. <br /> Fiscal Impacts <br /> There is no fiscal impact to the General Fund. <br /> This proposed additional appropriation of funds for the new Mobile Hostage Negotiations <br /> Team Operation Command Vehicle will be $11,000.
