SAN LEANDRO SHORELINE DEVELOPMENT DRAFT EIR <br />CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br />TABLE 1-1 SUMMARY OF IMPACTS AND MITIGATION MEASURES <br />Significance <br />Before <br />Significant Impact Mitigation <br />GHG-2. Implementation of the Project would not conflict LTS <br />with an applicable plan, policy, or regulation of an agency <br />adopted for the purpose of reducing the emissions of <br />GHGs. <br />Significance <br />With <br />Mitigation Measures Mitigation <br />GHG-1E: Applicants for new development projects within the San <br />Leandro Shoreline Development shall achieve either the Build -it - <br />Green GreenPoint Rated or US Green Building Council's Leadership <br />in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards that are <br />endorsed by the City. <br />GHG-1F: Applicants for future projects within the Project shall design <br />individual habitable residential and non-residential structures to be <br />15 percent more energy efficient than the current Building and <br />Energy Efficiency Standards. The 15 -percent reduction in building <br />envelope energy use shall be based on the current Building and <br />Energy Efficiency Standards (Title 24, Part 6, of the California <br />Building Code) that is in place at the time building permits are <br />submitted to the City.
