Programs that <br />use innovative technology, such as lighted crosswalks and warning countdowns should be <br />explored. <br />Environmental Review <br />This project is categorically exempt from CEQA per section 15301, Existing Facilities. Repair <br />and maintenance of existing structures are covered by this section. <br />Summary of Public Outreach Efforts <br />This project was advertised in the Daily Review on July 18, 2014. Nearby residents and <br />businesses were informed of the project via door hangers at the start of construction. <br />Fiscal Impacts <br />A summary of the construction contract with Columbia Electric, Inc. is below: <br />Original Contract $236,936.50 <br />Change Orders $25,679.40 <br />Total Contract Amount $262,616.90 <br />The project cost was $345, 224.14, including design and construction administration.
