TABLE 1-1 SUMMARY OF IMPACTS AND MITIGATION MEASURES <br />Significant Impact <br />Significance <br />Before <br />Mitigation Mitigation Measures <br />Significance <br />With <br />Mitigation <br />TRAF-2A: The proposed Project would cause the I-880 <br />northbound segment north of Davis Street to reduce from <br />LOS E to LOS F in the PM peak hour under Year 2020 <br />conditions <br />S TRAF-2A: One of the following measures shall occur: <br /> Widen I-880 to provide an additional travel lane in the <br />northbound direction; or <br /> Develop and implement a Transportation Demand Management <br />(TDM) plan that would discourage single occupant vehicle trips. <br />TDM measures may include: <br /> Provide a shuttle service that operates between the Project <br />site and key locations such as San Leandro and Coliseum <br />BART stations and Oakland International Airport; <br /> Facilitate carpool and ridesharing among residents of the <br />Project <br />SU <br />TRAF-2B: The proposed Project would cause the volume- <br />to-capacity (v/c) ratio on the northbound segment of <br />Doolittle Drive, which would operate at Level of Service <br />(LOS) F, to increase by 0.06 under Year 2020 conditions <br />and by 0.04 under Year 2035 conditions in the PM peak <br />hour. <br />S TRAF-2B.1: Widen Doolittle Drive to provide an additional travel lane <br />in the northbound direction; or <br />SU <br /> TRAF-2B.2: Provide a shuttle service that operates between the <br />Project site and key locations such as San Leandro and Coliseum <br />BART stations and Oakland International Airport. <br />TRAF-2C: The proposed Project would cause increases in <br />delays at the Aurora Drive and Marina Boulevard (#10), <br />Marina Boulevard and Merced Street (#12), Marina <br />Boulevard and I-880 southbound off ramp (#14), and <br />Monarch Bay Drive and Mulford Point Drive (#19) <br />intersections, which would adversely impact the transit <br />operations of AC Transit Line S, 75 and 89. <br />S TRAF-2C: Implement Mitigation Measures TRAF-1A through TRAF-7F. <br />Any roundabouts shall be designed to accommodate AC Transit <br />busses. <br />LTS <br />TRAF-3. The proposed Project would not result in a <br />change in air traffic patterns, including either an increase <br />in traffic levels or a change in location that results in <br />substantial safety risks. <br />No Impact N/A N/A <br />TRAF-4A: The location of the proposed northern driveway <br />of the North Golf Course Residential component of the <br />Project presents a potential sight distance challenge for <br />cars pulling out of the driveway. <br />S TRAF-4A: Remove the North Golf Course northern driveway from the <br />Project plans. <br />LTS
