6 <br /> (2)Within 210 days of execution of a VCA, the City will provide training to <br /> appropriate staff involved in administration of its CDBG-funded programs <br /> and activities on its Reasonable Accommodations policy. Upon receipt of a <br /> timely written request to the Department, the Department will coordinate with <br /> the City to arrange a mutually-acceptable time for the Department's staff to <br /> conduct training to City staff and CDBG sub-recipients on the subject of <br /> reasonable accommodation under Section 504. Such training must be <br /> conducted within 210 days of execution of this Agreement. Such training will <br /> include an overview of the rights of beneficiaries and responsibilities of a <br /> Recipient under Section 504, and will also include a discussion of the City's <br /> reasonable accommodations policy as developed pursuant to provision G(1), <br /> above. <br /> (3)Within 210 days of execution of a VCA, but prior to the date of training <br /> provided by the Department as discussed in paragraph G(2), above, the City <br /> will provide to HUD-FHEO in accordance with paragraph IV below a copy of <br /> its amended Reasonable Accommodations Policy, and a statement of the date <br /> training was provided to its staff on the policy. <br /> H. Needs Assessment/Transition Plan to Remediate Physical Barriers (24 CFR 8.20) <br /> (1) Within 240 days of execution of a VCA, the City will update its 1995 <br /> Transition Plan and require its CDBG-funded sub-recipients to conduct an <br /> assessment of their own CDBG-funded facilities and programs. Where finding <br /> instances of physical non-compliance or inaccessibility in City facilities, the <br /> City will either prepare necessary revisions to its 1995 Transition Plan <br /> identifying the steps and timeframes for undertaking modifications to address <br /> non-compliant elements or identify steps the City will take to develop <br /> effective means for providing program accessibility to services. <br /> (2) In no case later than the commencement of the 2009-2010 funding cycle, the <br /> City will take actions to assure that current and future sub-recipients providing <br /> programs or activities with CDBG funds are aware of the requirement to <br /> provide, to the greatest extent feasible, services for clients in ADA compliant <br /> accessible locations. <br /> (3)Within 270 days of execution of a VCA, the City will provide to HUD-FHEO <br /> in accordance with paragraph IV below, a copy of its revised Needs <br /> Assessment and Transition Plan. The City will also provide copies of its <br /> contracts that require sub-recipients to provide CDBG-funded programs or <br /> activities in accessible locations. <br /> IV.
