File Number: 15-521 <br />Account Source Expired Balance/Appropriation Request <br />120-28-183 DFSI $5,463 <br />The Miscellaneous Traffic Studies account is used to conduct traffic studies of small scale <br />projects that are not part of larger projects. Staff anticipates that the requested appropriation <br />will be spent by 2018. The following table shows the remaining balance in this expenditure <br />account that has expired and returned to fund balance as of June 30, 2015. Staff requests <br />that the remaining amount listed below be appropriated for this project. <br />Account Source Expired Balance/Appropriation Request <br />120-28-189 DFSI $26,528 (including encumbrances) <br />The Miscellaneous Traffic Safety Equipment account is designated for purchasing traffic <br />safety equipment for small projects that improve traffic and pedestrian safety. Staff anticipates <br />that the requested appropriation will be spent by 2017. The following table shows the <br />remaining balance in this expenditure account that has expired and returned to fund balance <br />as of June 30, 2015. Staff requests that the remaining amount listed below be appropriated <br />for this project. <br />Account Source Expired Balance/Appropriation Request <br />144-36-285 Measure B $4,142 <br />The Heron Bay Levee Maintenance project will install heavy stone rip rap to repair sections of <br />the levee that protects the Shoreline Marshland south of Marina Park that have eroded, <br />settled, or washed away due to tidal actions. The environmental review for this project is 50% <br />complete and the design will start near the end of this year. The project has not been <br />completed because it took several years for sufficient annual contributions from the <br />assessment district to accumulate and because extensive environmental review and <br />permitting is required. The project will be completed in 2018. The following table shows the <br />appropriation in this expenditure account that has expired and returned to fund balance as of <br />June 30, 2015. Staff requests that the remaining amount listed should be appropriated again <br />for this project. It should be noted that this account contains another appropriation of <br />$249,787 that has not expired and will be carried forward. <br />Account Source Expired Balance/Appropriation Request <br />147-42-150 Assessment District $25,882 (including encumbrances) <br />The Sidewalk Repair - City Property account is used for repairing sidewalk along the frontage <br />of City properties. The project is ongoing and performed on an as-needed basis. Staff <br />anticipates that the requested appropriation will be spent by 2017. The following table shows <br />the remaining balance in this expenditure account that has expired and returned to fund <br />balance, as of June 30, 2015.
