File Number: 15-699 <br />On January 13, 2016, the City Council Rules Committee discussed and reviewed a draft <br />policy for Police Rewards. The policy is not finalized; therefore, the additional request for <br />reward funds for this case is presented to the City Council for further consideration and action. <br />Fiscal Impacts <br />A City Council approved increase to the current reward amount would be funded through the <br />current Fiscal Year 2015-16 budget appropriation approval from City Council in account <br />010-14-015-5890. <br />Budget Authority <br />If an increased reward is approved by the City Council, staff requests the City Council also <br />approve an appropriation of General Fund economic uncertainty reserves to fund the <br />additional reward. <br />ATTACHMENT <br />None. <br />PREPARED BY: Scott Koll, Police Business Manager, Police Department <br />Page 2 City of San Leandro Printed on 1/26/2016
