14 SECTION 1: SCOPE OF WORK | 2014_0122 <br /> <br /> <br />Wide Area Network or WAN. A data network that serves users across a broad geographic area and often uses <br />transmission devices provided by common carriers. <br /> <br />WSCA-NASPO. The WSCA-NASPO cooperative purchasing program, facilitated by the WSCA-NASPO Cooperative <br />Purchasing Organization LLC, a 501(c)(3) limited liability company that is a subsidiary org anization of the National <br />Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO). The WSCA-NASPO Cooperative Purchasing Organization <br />facilitates administration of the cooperative group contracting consortium of state chief procurement officials for the benefi t <br />of state departments, institutions, agencies, and political subdivisions and other eligible entities (i.e., colleges, school <br />districts, counties, cities, some nonprofit organizations, etc.) for all states and the District of Columbia. The <br />WSCA-NASPO Cooperative Development Team is identified in the Master Agreement as the recipient of reports and may <br />be performing contract administration functions as assigned by the Lead State Contract Administrator. <br />
