VII. ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT A. Pursuant to Government Code Section 66020, including Section 66020 (d) (1), the City HEREBY NOTIFIES the applicant for this Project that the 90 -day approval period (in which the applicant may protest the imposition of any fees, dedications, reservations, or other exactions imposed on this Project by these Conditions of Approval) will begin on the date of the conditional approval of this Project. If you fail to file a protest within this 90 -day period, complying with all of the requirements of Government Code Section 66020, you will be legally barred from later challenging any such fees, dedications, reservations or other exactions. B. The proposed development shall comply with City ordinances, policies and regulations. All improvements shall be in accordance with the City's Design Standards, Specifications and Standard Plans unless otherwise specifically approved by the City Engineer. C. The applicant shall pay design review fees, permit fees, inspection fees, and any other fees charged by the City or other reviewing agencies for the review, approval, permitting and inspection of the public and/or private improvements. D. Site Improvement Plans for all on-site and off-site improvements shall be approved by the City Engineer prior to the issuance of Building Permits for the project. All improvements shall be designed and constructed in accordance with the City's Design Standards, Specifications and Standard Plans, unless otherwise specifically approved by the City Engineer. E. The applicant shall have site improvements designed and stamped by a civil engineer registered to practice within the State of California. Applicant shall obtain approval of the City Engineer for all onsite and offsite improvements prior to the issuance of Building Permits for the project. F. Prior to the issuance of the Building Permit, the applicant shall pay Park Development Impact Fee as per Section 800 of Chapter 1 Title VII of San Leandro Municipal Code and Master Fee Schedule. In addition, the applicant shall pay Development Fee for Street Improvement (DFSI), Sewer Connection fee and other fees as required by City Ordinances and regulations. The exact fee shall be determined at the time of Building Permit issuance and may be adjusted to reflect any change in the ENR Construction Cost Index. G. The following are estimated fees assessed to the proposed single-family home on the new 5,000 square foot lot: DFSI of $1,240, and Park Facilities Development Impact Fee of $15,177.43. H. The proposed single-family residence shall have all its utility connections separate from the existing dwelling on Kenilworth Avenue.
