City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: November 7, 2016 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:16-507 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY:Keith Cooke <br />Engineering & Transportation Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW:David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION Approving a Consulting Services Agreement with WRECO for <br />the Design of the 2016-17 Annual Street Overlay/Rehabilitation Project in the <br />Amount of $258,490 and Authorization for Individual Change Orders up to <br />10% or $25,849 each and Cumulative Change Orders up to 25% or $64,623 <br />of the Original Contract, Project No. 2017.0050 (provides for topographic <br />survey and civil engineering design services, and authorization of change <br />orders to be funded by the General Fund, Gas Tax, Vehicle Registration Fees, <br />Measure B and BB Funds, and Measure BB Grant Funds) <br />WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and WRECO a copy of <br />which is attached, is presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby <br />authorized; and <br />That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve individual <br />amendments to the scope of work up to a maximum of $25,849, which is 10% of the original <br />contract amount, each; and <br />That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve <br />cumulative amendments to the scope of work up to a maximum of $64,623, which is 25% of <br />the original contract amount. <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 11/1/2016
