<br />Proposals for Revising Northern California Metroplex – Alameda County/Contra Costa County 25 <br />CNDEL THREE PRIMARY IMPACTED CITIES: <br /> <br />City of Alameda, particularly the community of Bay Farm Island, Alameda. <br /> <br />CNDEL THREE NOISE ISSUES: <br /> <br />Aircraft ground tracks for this departure come significantly close to BFI and Alameda shorelines. A <br />change to this departure as part of any Metroplex revisions would greatly reduce the noise impact of <br />these flights. <br /> <br /> <br />CNDEL THREE — NOISE FORUM REQUESTS: <br /> <br />Consider adjusting CNDEL THREE departure so that the ground track for this departure is further <br />away from BFI/Alameda. This could be accomplished by directing aircraft departing OAK runway <br />30 to turn left to a heading of 280° until reaching the OAK 4 DME arc. This OAK 4 DME arc could <br />replace the LEJAY intersection. This requested change would direct aircraft away from the <br />BFI/Alameda shoreline sooner, which would reduce noise to residents. <br /> <br /> <br />CNDEL THREE REQUESTED INITIAL FAA RESEARCH: <br /> <br />We request the FAA demonstrate that any proposed changes will result in noise reduction. <br /> <br /> <br />217
